Wintery Spring

April 6, 2013 By Eric Hoeksema Leave a Comment

We enjoyed a warm and unusually mild February with early flowers and spring-like weather. In contrast, March has been very cold and a return to winter.    The last few weeks have seen nights below zero and significant snowfalls.  Everyone is anxiously waiting for spring to really start.  This winter-like spring has been felt throughout Europe.  In mid-March, Hungary experienced so much snow that people were stranded for days in their cars and the Hungarian army came with tanks to rescue people.  There are two interesting links below giving further detail about the mid-March snow fall in in Hungary.
